NSHM CLC organized a one-day Faculty Development Programme on enhancing English Language skills for school teachers on 7th July 2023. Over 30 schools from Kolkata participated in the event and engaged in interesting discussions and activities conducted by eminent ELT experts like Prof Arpita Banerjee, Dr J. Mangayarkarasi, Dr Soujanya Pudi and Mr Rajat Chaudhuri. Many relevant areas of teaching like non-directive teaching, analytical and modern reading, and teaching writing using eco-fiction were discussed with the teachers. In the course of the event, NCLC also released its first journal NJLLC. The teachers highly appreciated the program. The FDP certificates were awarded to the participants by the Chief Mentor of NSHM Shri Cecil Antony.
