How to apply for Asha Jyoti Scholarship
- To apply for the scholarship, you must fill up the NSHM application form.
- Fill up the essential scholarship information on the NSHM application form.
- The scholarship will be awarded to the selected applicants only, who will be chosen by the NSHM scholarship committee.

EWS Scholarship | For all | (1) All Indian citizens enrolled in the 11th and 12th grades are eligible to apply for the scholarship. (2) Students must possess a certificate from the state or central board’s 10th standard board examination. (3) The applicant must obtain at least 50% on the board exam. (4) The family income of the applicant should not exceed INR 6 lakh annually. (5) The candidate must continue their regular education through the 11th or 12th grade. Students who attend open or private schools are not eligible. |

MyNSHM Fee Waiver
In addition to being eligible for applying for Academic Scholarship & Financial Aid, the following are eligible for the MyNSHM Fee Waiver:
- NSHM UG Student applying for a PG Program at NSHM Kolkata or Durgapur
- Immediate Sibling of a current NSHM Student or Alumni
- Children of NSHM Professors & all other Team-Members
The following documents will need to be uploaded to the Admission Application Form to avail the MyNSHM Fee Waiver:
For NSHM UG Students applying for PG Programs
- NSHM Student ID Card
- Latest University Mark Sheet
For Siblings of NSHM Students/Alumni
- Proof of Relation – Birth Certificates & Aadhar Cards of both Applicant and NSHM Student/Alumni
- Proof that sibling is a Student/Alumni of NSHM – NSHM Student ID Card and Graduation Transcript from University mentioning NSHM
For Children of NSHM Professors & Team-Members
- Proof of relation – Birth Certificates & Aadhar Cards of both Applicant and NSHM Employee
- Proof of NSHM Employee – Employee ID Card & ID Number
How to Apply for Scholarship:
Email scholarship@nshm.com with the following:
- Full Name of Student
- Application Form Number
- Scholarship Applied for (Academic or Financial Aid)
- Program Name Applied for
- Campus Applied at (Kolkata/Durgapur Campus)
- All supporting documents as per the Scholarship Type.
Please note if all supporting documents are not emailed, scholarship cannot be processed and the candidate will be kept on waitlist.

A student loan with a payback period of up to 20 years begins with an interest rate of 7.00% per year ( Approx). Education loans for full-time or part-time courses can be used for both in-country and out-of-country higher education.

If, the loan applicant is under 18, then his or her parents must apply for the loan on their behalf. The applicant must have a good academic record. He or she must have received admission to a reputable, university, or institution.
