Admission Procedure
1. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF BACHELOR OF PHARMACY COURSE
1.1. CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
To seek admission, the applicant should have passed the H.S. (10+2) or its equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board in a regular class mode with the following criteria:
- Individual pass marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology.
- Minimum of 45% marks in the above subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC), as well as pass marks in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) in the said qualifying examination of the Higher Secondary (10+2).
- Qualify at the WBJEE, or JEE (Main) for B. Pharm admission.
- Submission of school leaving certificate for taking admission failing which the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled.
2. CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION FOR LATERAL ENTRY STUDENTS
To seek admission though lateral entry to the 2nd Year, the candidate should have passed diploma course in Pharmacy from any polytechnic institute with the following criteria:
- At least 50% marks (45% for reserved category) through JELET(Pharma) organized by WBJEEB.
- Individual pass marks in Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with Mathematics / Biology.
- Minimum of 45% marks in the preceding subjects taken together (40% for SC/ST/PWD/OBC), as well as pass in English with a minimum of 30% marks (for all categories of candidates) Higher Secondary Examination (10+2).
- Submission of school leaving certificate for taking admission failing which the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled.
- Submission of Migration certificate if the candidate passes qualifying examinations from a board other than WBCHSE or a University other than MAKAUT. If the certificate is not submitted within the date specified by the University, the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled.
2.1. CENTRALIZED ONLINE COUNSELLING
After securing a rank in the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination (WBJEE) or the National Level Common Entrance Examination (JEE-Main), all candidates have to undergo a centralized online counselling (e-counselling) conducted by West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board. 2.2. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Document verification is the responsibility of the allotted Institute (herein NSHM). Candidates will personally report to the institute (where he/she has been allotted a seat) within the days as notified, carrying printed copies of their allotment letters, rank cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification of documents by the Institute.
2.3. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
The candidate shall now fill-up the application form by paying Rs.750 (Rupees Seven Hundred and Fifty only) towards application fee in the finance department.
2.4. DIRECT ADMISSION THROUGH MANAGEMENT QUOTA
Specific number of seats are reserved as per management quota as per government’s guidelines, as announced from time to time. WBJEE / JEE Mains qualified students can only apply. Admissions are offered on merit basis.
3. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF MASTERS OF PHARMACY COURSE
3.1. CRITERIA FOR ADMISSION
To seek M.Pharmacy admission, candidates must hold a B.Pharmacy degree from an institute approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with the following criteria:
- 60% marks obtained in B. Pharmacy degree from the UG Institute.
- The candidate will have to qualify at the Post Graduate Entrance Test (PGET) conducted by MAKAUT on the year of admission for M. Pharmacy admission.
- Candidates will be required to submit a college leaving certificate issued by the institute for taking admission, failing which, the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled. Candidates applying for M.Pharm course from any University other than MAKAUT will have to produce migration certificate.
3.2. CENTRALISED ONLINE COUNSELLING
After securing a rank in the PGET all candidates have to undergo a centralized online counselling (e-counselling) conducted by MAKAUT. All participants holding a rank card will be required to attend the counselling in order of ranks secured by them.
3.3. DOCUMENT VERIFICATION
Allotment of institute (herein NSHM) is given based on the inputs provided by the candidate. Document verification is the responsibility of the allotted Institute (herein NSHM). Candidates will personally report to the institute (where he/she has been allotted a seat) within the days as notified, carrying printed copies of their allotment letters, rank cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification of documents by the institute (herein NSHM).
3.4. SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION FORM
The candidate shall now fill-up application form of NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata-Group of Institutions by paying Rs. 1000 (Rupees One Thousand only) towards application fee.
4. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF MASTERS OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata-Group of Institutions offer admission after a rigorous selection process to select the most suitable candidate for MBA.
4.1. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
- 10th + 12th + Bachelors Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% from a recognized University.
- The candidates need to secure minimum 70 percentile in Management Aptitude Test (MAT) or Joint Entrance Management Aptitude Test (JEMAT).
- The candidates will be required to submit migration certificates for taking admissions, failing which, the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled.
4.2. SELECTION PROCESS
- Aspiring candidates need to submit the online application form by paying Rs. 1000 towards application fee.
- Admission process is conducted in 3 rounds. The last dates of applications are 31st January, 30th April & 31st July for the respective rounds.
- Candidates in each round are selected based on their academic performance, MAT/ JEMAT score and performance in personal interviews and group discussions organised by the institute.
- Candidates need to carry printed copies of score cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification by the institute
- Shortlisted candidates shall receive the selection letter sent vide email.
5. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF BACHELOR OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION
NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata-Group of Institutions offer admission after a rigorous selection process to select the most suitable candidate for BBA.
5.1. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
- 10th + 12th in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% from a recognized Board.
- The candidate need to secure a valid score in Common Entrance Test (CET) or NSHM Personality & Aptitude Test (NPAT).
5.2. SELECTION PROCESS
- Aspiring candidates need to submit the online application form by paying Rs. 750 towards application fee.
- Last date of application is 31st of July
- Selection from the total number of applicants is based on academic score, performance in CET/ NPAT and personal interview conducted by the principal or nominated faculties.
- Candidates need to carry printed copies of score cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification by the institute
- After personal interview round shortlisted candidates shall receive the selection letter sent vide email.
6. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF BACHELOR OF COMPUTER APPLICATION
NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata-Group of Institutions offer admission after a rigorous selection process to select the most suitable candidate for BCA.
6.1. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
- 10th + 12th in any discipline with an aggregate of 60% from a recognized Board.
- The candidate need to secure a valid score in Common Entrance Test (CET) or NSHM Personality & Aptitude Test (NPAT).
6.2. SELECTION PROCESS
- Aspiring candidates need to submit the online application form by paying Rs. 750 towards application fee.
- Last date of application is 31st of July
- Selection from the total number of applicants is based on academic score and performance in CET/ NPAT and personal interview conducted by the principal or nominated faculties.
- Candidates need to carry printed copies of score cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification by the institute
- After personal interview round shortlisted candidates shall receive the selection letter sent vide email.
7. ADMISSION PROCEDURE OF MASTERS OF COMPUTER APPLICATION
NSHM Knowledge Campus, Kolkata-Group of Institutions offer admission after a rigorous selection process to select the most suitable candidate for MCA.
7.1. CRITERIA FOR ELIGIBILITY
- 10th + 12th + Bachelors Degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% from a recognized University.
- The candidate need to secure a valid score in Joint Entrance Examination for Computer Application (JECA).
- The candidate will be required to submit a migration certificate for taking admission, failing which, the provisional admission of the candidate will stand automatically cancelled.
7.2. SELECTION PROCESS
- Aspiring candidates need to submit the online application form by paying Rs. 1000 towards application fee.
- Last date of application is 31st of July
- Selection from the total number of applicants is based on academic score and performance in JECA and personal interview conducted by the principal or nominated faculties.
- Candidates need to carry printed copies of score cards and all academic and other documents for physical verification by the institute
- After personal interview round shortlisted candidates shall receive the selection letter sent vide email.
