Roles and Responsibilities

The Advisory Board comprises erudite, national and international, from both the academic and industrial circles. The Advisory Board Members’ role lies in expressing their views regarding the decisions that the NJMRA team can take from time to time to make it meet the desired publication criteria. The expertise will be a guide towards improving the aim and scope of the journal in the relevant field. The journal team looks for their active role in exhibiting opinion on the journal’s direction and performance, providing subject-specific support, and exploring novel ideas to develop “Special Issues” with specific topics that will be an innovation corner for the journal. The team can advise on topics addressed by the journal as well as its overall scope and focus. The NJMRA team seeks their assistance in developing the strategic development plan for the forthcoming volumes of the journal, offering advice on the journal policy and content, and creating awareness about the journal.

The Editorial team comprises esteemed Professors, Principals, and Associate Professors from all across the globe. Representing some of the best B-Schools, and Universities, the decision of the Editorial Board is critical in the process of editing, peer-reviewing, and regarding the publication of the articles. The NJMRA team seeks their views regarding the quality and integrity of the papers, and also regarding any changes to be incorporated for the best outcome of the journal. The responsibilities of the Editorial Team primarily concern the designing of the journal policies (like guidelines for reviewing papers, the timeline for making revisions by Authors, copyright process), financial planning of the Journal, guidance on sponsorship assistance, and publishing/maintenance costs (in the future, if any).

To enhance the manuscript quality, NJMRA uses double-blind review (i.e. both the reviewer and author identities are concealed from the reviewers, and vice versa, throughout the review process). The panel of reviewers comprises of experienced academicians associated with varied national and international Institutes of repute with doctorates in varied disciplines. The reviewer’s responsibility is to check whether the study possesses novelty and presents the results of original research. It is required that the reported results are not published elsewhere. To enhance the manuscript quality, the manuscript should meet the publication standards, and for the possible significance of the work concerning the present and hereafter. The Reviewer’s assignments during the peer review process include-

  • Present your perspective regarding the quality of the article and provide the area of the article to be upgraded.
  • Outline the strengths and weaknesses of the manuscript.
  • Put forth your valuable suggestions to the author on how to improve the article.
  • If the article is worthy of rejection in your horizon, please explain the grounds on which the conclusion is posed.
  • Reviewers are requested to avoid any personalized statements that may be considered biased.
  • The reviewers need to maintain confidentiality throughout the peer review process.
  • Reviewers are not allowed to make use of any confidential information from the paper before publication.
  • Even after publication, reviewers are allowed to use only the published data but not the content that they have gained from previous drafts during the peer review process.
  • Information apart from the published content can be used only after acquiring permission from the author.
  • Reviewers are requested to perform the peer review with ensured uniformity and impartiality. Reviewers need to complete the peer review analysis within the stipulated period.
